Masterpiece for Eternity (MFE) is a ministry that was birthed out of tragedy and loss.  Four years ago, our precious niece, Stephanie Anne Thomasson, passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm that we didn’t know she had.  She was 19 years-old; a beautiful soul who loved Jesus and radiated His love to all those around her.

The grief that our family experienced was overwhelming, but especially for my sister and brother-in-law. Losing a child is a parent’s worst nightmare, and that nightmare became their reality. But what happened in the aftermath of this tragedy was also overwhelming. By God's grace they had a community of family, friends and fellow Christ followers that rallied around them in support. Some dear friends offered a short-term place for them to stay in lieu of going directly home from the hospital. This proved to be such a tremendous gift to them as it provided a peaceful, quiet haven for them to process, grieve, and attempt to pick up the broken pieces. It was through this experience and immense generosity of dear friends that MFE was birthed.

MFE is now actively working to build a small cottage in the mountains of NC in close proximity to our sister and brother-in-law’s home. It is their desire to show the love of Christ by providing a peaceful, quiet, short-term haven for those walking through traumatic experiences so that they, too, can process, grieve and pick up the broken pieces.

The other facet of this ministry is to provide counsel and support to families as they journey through the unexpected death of a loved one. The decisions that have to be made are numerous, yet they are difficult to navigate under the weight of loss and grief.  It is the desire of MFE to offer guidance, understanding and hope to individuals during this very difficult process.

As you can see, MFE is near and dear to our hearts.  So during this time of thanks and giving, we are honored to partner with them by giving 20% of our profit to this vital ministry.  If you’ve ever dreamt of a custom closet designed to meet your organizational needs, there is no better time than now to make that dream a reality. By doing so, you’ll not only get a beautiful closet, but you’ll also have a part in easing the burden on families faced with the unexpected loss of a loved one.
